We have put the WunderCap® to work yet again in our test kitchen. For St. Patrick’s Day dinner we purchased 2.85 pounds of Corned Beef and resisted the urge to take the slow cooker out of storage. After all isn’t this Thermomix® supposed to replace 22+ kitchen appliances? BUT how do you fit 2.85 lbs of meat in the Thermomix® without turning them to pulled pork? Easy peasy – replace the blade with the WunderCap®!!!
Nothing fancy with this recipe. Placed the meat in the TM6 bowl, added water being mindful of that Max mark, and then the pickling spice packet. Selected Slow Cook mode for 2 1/2 hours and then switched to manual mode at 100 degrees Celsius for another 2 hours. The last half hour we added some small potatoes. Voila! St Patrick’s Day dinner is ready.
